The Viqua UVMax Model H UV sterilizer is a commercial UV sterilizer designed for flow rates up to 45 GPM at 30mJ/cm² (37 GPM at 40mJ/cm²) . It is designed to treat bacteria (such as e.coli and coliform), viruses, and other microbiological contaminants including giardia (beaver fever) and cryptosporidium without the use of chemicals. It is suitable for the treatment of private wells and surface water supplies, as well as municipal water for those seeking a higher level of confidence in the safety of their water supply.

The Viqua Model H controller includes a unique and intuitive display with LED status lights that correspond to each component of the system. At a quick glace, the operator can identify the status of each component - green means all is good, orange means maintenance is required, and red means there is a fault. The controller automatically senses line voltage between 100 and 240 volts for consistent UV output and performance in varying electrical operating conditions.

The Model H uses Viqua's industry-leading amalgam lamp technology which offers up to double the lamp life of competitors' systems - 2 years! That means less maintenance and lower lamp costs over the life of the system. The amalgam lamps are also more stable thereby producing more consistent output at varying temperatures and over the life of the lamp.

The CoolTouch fan system and built-in convection air flow provide important cooling during periods of inactive water use. By maintaining cooler temperatures, scale formation on the UV sleeve is reduced thereby reducing maintenance requirements, and the UV dose is more stable.
