Used to install a submersible pump into a lake, pond, storage tank, cisterns etc.  

The pump flow sleeve keeps the motor cool and the stand prevents pump from laying in sediment. 

If the flow of water is coming from above the pump, then a flow sleeve must be added for motor cooling.

A flow sleeve should always be used in an open body of water.
