This white cartridge replacement media is designed for the 1 GPM OneFlow (R) cold water single cartridge style filter system used on water heaters, hot-beverage systems, appliances, steamers, etc that requires protection from the ill effects of hard water. It is NSF and ANSI certified for material safety and should be replaced every 12 months by isolating the tank with a bypass valve
